Besides repair or replacement, a handyman’s second most common job is installation. Proper installation prolongs longer life. Very often, installation requires other modifications before the installation can occur, sometimes making the job more complex.
A.W. For Solution is your trusted installer for anything you can imagine in your home or building.
Do you want your curtain rod or blind installed? A new doorbell, a programmable switch timer, or a solar-powered flood light but stuck with installation? Consider it done.
Need more wire shelves in your closet or towel rods in the bathroom? A new over-the-range microwave in the kitchen? The list is almost endless, but help is on the way.
Customizations and alterations are my specialties, and I love those challenges. In addition, these methods are sometimes cheaper and more convenient than replacements.
For example, let’s say you want to change the opening direction of one of your interior doors. One way is by removing the entire door and installing a new pre-hung door. The job may involve plaster, texture, trim repair, caulking, and touch-up wall painting. The whole new door will need painting too, not to mention its cost.
Another way is to approach removing the door slab only. Hinges and the striking plate are reversed and installed on opposite sides, and door stopper moldings are repositioned. However, the repair is minor compared to the replacement. It only involves the door jamb, and the required touch-up paint is minimal, too.
You might feel something needs to be changed in your home or office, but you must figure out what it is and how it is possible. We can brainstorm together using my expertise and creativity.
Assembling could be challenging. Sometimes, the drawings are confusing or missing steps. Some people find 3-dimensional sketches confusing or just not up for that challenge.
I’ve completed many assemblies, from simple furniture to IKEA cabinets. Whatever you need to be assembled, it will be done professionally and hassle-free.
